Soundproof Walls? I have trouble sleeping with noise and my brothers room is right next door to mine and he insists on sleeping with his tv on. I was wondering how much it would be to soundproof a wall and how I would go about doing it? If anyone else has any ideas on how to make it so that I can't hear his television I'd like to hear them. (I've already tried ear plugs and after sleeping with them in for a few nights my ears started to hurt)

How can I soundproof 1 wall? I know that sounds rediculous, but ONE wall of my baby girl's room is back to back with the kitchen. How do i remove soundproofing foam and glue from my walls? My cousin had sound proofing foam glued to his walls to drown out the sound of his drumkit, however I now need to remove it all. So far I've pulled off the squares of foam (along with chunks of the plaster!) however there's still quite a lot of foam that's stuck fast, as well as the glue.
