How can i soundproof a room?
How can i soundproof a room using simple ools/materials, so the neighbours don't complain about my puppy crying at night? The room is a little bathroom, and has one door, and a window.

- cover the walls with the egg-carton spongey stuff they make mattress pads out of... that should insulate/isolate the sound.
- well if you can do it you can get blown insulation between the walls, that will almost eliminate any sounds from passing threw the walls.
- Pad it with duct tape and aluminum foil.
- just buy your puppy one of those things that shocks it when it cry
- go to a local supply store and get egg crate style packing material and attach to inside of the wall other than that everything needs to be inside of the wall like foam blown-in insulation or check out do it yourself at www.lowes.com
- I wached this movie and they sound proofed there room thet took pillow cases and filled it whith sand and put it around the doors and windows good luck!!!
- Blown insulation is the most practical/aesthetically pleasing option. The egg shell padding can get expensive and unsightly. The problem with sound proofing is often the doors, windows, ceilings and floors. Remember that sound is omnidirectional.
