Soundproof Walls

is it expensive to soundproof a small room?

I think the room is 10 by 10 ft. Any RELIABLE websites I can check out to help me soundproof a room?

1. I don't know a site like that. But I can try to help you with the knowledge. Use liberal amounts of thermocol or glass wool based insulation for the walls, doors and windows. At the door and window seams, use soft rubber strips, backed by felt... I use that for my listening room and i run a home theatre setup in such a room, as my family cannot stand the sound of thunder from that.
