how can I soundproof my bedroom?
I cant tear down my walls. I just want to know how I can not wake up my parents down the hall while gaming at night. I already use headphones its just me talking that wakes them up. So if you know of any cheap materials that I can just hang up on my walls to soundproof it that would be great.

- who cares?
- insulation paper
- IDK just try being quieter or put some blankets up around the cracks and everything
- Move out.
- you can take the exspensive way and hang a special material (ill post agian when i remember the name :S) it goes up like wallpaper and is almost like an aluminum substance but it completely blocks all sound
- dude try this... buy egg trays as many as you can.. paste it on the walls.... this is what sound recording studios are using sometimes if they cant afford to buy the expensive ones... im sure they wont hear anything from your bedroom.. and make sure your room doesn't have holes..
- The doors are where most of the noise passes through. Try covering the insides with acoustic panels like these http://www.audioadvisor.com/prodinfo.asp?number=SNXJRCHA If your door doesn't go all the way to the ground, try using a twin draft guard http://www.asseenontvguys.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=349 Put a bunch more acoustic panels on the wall and ceiling, as much as you can afford. Also try using cardboard (empty) egg cartons as acoustic panels. Finally...don't talk to loud.
- slip them some sleeping pills everynight at dinner, so at night they wont wake up to anything. lol jk jk.
