Soundproof Walls

does covering the walls of a room with toilet paper make it soundproof?

buying a drumset and i dont want to bug the neighbors or my parents! would toilet paper work? i dont mind having a white fluffy room.

2. No it makes it look tackey. Matresses are better. But...thats also tackey. Drums are noisey....period! Buy the neighbors earplugs...its cheaper ;-)

4. lol, no it will just make your walls cottony soft. they sell soundproofing eggshell like foam at the home depot. fairly inexpensive, definitely less that toilet paper...lol

6. Carpeting around the wall would help. I have one done like that and it's totally soundproof...pretty cool
7. I doubt the neighboors would want walls made of fluffy toilet paper, be serious, they have feelings too.
