Can you use sound proofing material to block my Neighbors loud music?

I live upstairs in an apartment, and my neighbors are college students;they are so loud and always have there stereo on blasting. I want to know if anyone knows a good way to sound proof thier noise. is this possible???? ive call the office and they are soon getting evicted but want to do something in the mean time;

1. Since you live in an apartment just call the office. If you don't want them to say anything about you just say so. You don't need to do anything to make it quieter in your apartment they need to quiet down. If it is bothering you then it is probably bothering someone else.
2. Dont waste the money. Call the police again. Police officers dont like repeat offenders and they wont get warnings anymore theyll be taking to jail. As long as an officer has gone to the residence and reported the offense the next officer will see this and either give them another warning which is highly probably or take the owner to jail. Ive seen repeat 3rd offenders be takin to jail for loud music. Just call the cops everytime, if someone doesnt show up then call the cops asking why a patrol officer did not come. You have to get on ignorant people. Dont change your ways because someone else is acting like a fool. Save the money.
